WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Wellness Association (CWA) proudly announces the overwhelming success of the Blue Wellness Day 2026, held on Saturday at Hofi Mango. The event welcomed more than 2,000 visitors throughout the day, far surpassing all expectations and demonstrating the growing interest in health, wellness, prevention, and community wellbeing across Curaçao.
Organized as Curaçao’s official celebration of Global Wellness Day, the Blue Wellness Day brought together healthcare professionals, wellness practitioners, community organizations, government representatives, local businesses, families, visitors and residents of all ages for a full day dedicated to health, movement, education, relaxation, and connection.

Visitors enjoyed an extensive program featuring yoga, pilates, meditation, sound healing, healthy lifestyle workshops, wellness demonstrations, guided nature tours, children's activities, wellness talks, massages, a wellness marketplace with local entrepreneurs, and the highly anticipated “Wellness Conversations We Need to Have” Podcast, where experts discussed important wellness topics affecting the community.
The event's success was made possible through the collaboration and support of numerous strategic partners, sponsors, volunteers, facilitators, healthcare organizations, wellness professionals, and community leaders who all contributed their time, expertise, and resources.
"We are overwhelmed by the incredible response from the community," said Maria-Helena Seferina-Rojas, Chairwoman of the Curaçao Wellness Association. "To see more than 2,000 people come together around the theme of wellness confirms what we have always believed: Curaçao is ready for a wellness movement. The enthusiasm, energy, and participation we witnessed throughout the day exceeded every expectation and demonstrate the importance of making wellness accessible to everyone."

The Blue Wellness Day was inspired by this year’s spirit of national pride and was named “Blue Wellness Day” in recognition of Curaçao’s historic participation on the world stage and the positive energy currently uniting the island. This strong sense of unity perfectly reflected the 2026 Global Wellness Day theme of reconnecting with ourselves, our communities, and the world around us. Throughout the day, people from all walks of life came together to celebrate health, wellbeing, and connection, demonstrating the power of wellness to unite and strengthen communities.
Throughout the day, visitors explored the beautiful natural surroundings of Hofi Mango while learning about practical ways to improve their physical, mental, emotional, financial, and social wellbeing. The event also highlighted the importance of prevention and healthy lifestyle choices as essential components of a healthier future for Curaçao.
The Curaçao Wellness Association extends its sincere gratitude to Hofi Mango, all participating facilitators, volunteers, healthcare partners, sponsors and in specific Grand Hill, Aqualectra, Unical, and MCB, exhibitors, media partners, and every visitor who helped make the day such a remarkable success.
The Curaçao Wellness Association also extends its sincere gratitude to ABC Busbedrijf for helping make wellness accessible to all. Through the provision of transportation to and from Hofi Mango many visitors were able to comfortably attend the event. This partnership played an important role in ensuring that Blue Wellness Day truly remained a community event for everyone, regardless of where they live on the island.
Following the tremendous turnout and positive feedback received, CWA is already exploring opportunities to further expand future wellness initiatives and continue building Curaçao's position as an Island of Healing.
The association remains committed to its mission of inspiring healthier, happier, and more balanced lives for all residents of Curaçao through education, collaboration, prevention, and community engagement.
