Betèsda bank accounts temporarily frozen amid legal dispute with former director

WILLEMSTAD – The care and treatment center Betèsda has seen its bank accounts temporarily frozen following a conservatory seizure requested by former director Natasha Rog in connection with a fiscal dispute.

As a result of the seizure, Betèsda currently has no access to its bank accounts and is unable to carry out payments. The institution confirmed that it has initiated summary proceedings in an effort to have the seizure lifted as quickly as possible and is awaiting a court hearing date. Due to the situation, salaries cannot currently be paid.

The management of Betèsda stated that it is working closely with the Supervisory Board, legal counsel, the labor union and the Inspectorate to find a rapid solution. According to the organization, employees have been reassured that they can turn to management with any questions or concerns during this period.

Betèsda emphasized that every effort is being made to resolve the matter swiftly in order to safeguard continuity of care and minimize the impact on staff and operations.
