WILLEMSTAD – Venezuelan airline Avior Airlines has announced the restart of its direct air route between Maracaibo and Curaçao, aiming to strengthen commercial, tourism and family ties between Venezuela and the island.
The airline announced that promotional round-trip fares will be available starting at USD 190. Travelers arriving in Curaçao will still be required to obtain a visa for the Dutch Caribbean. The visa fee is currently €80.
Flights on the renewed route will begin this week as part of Avior Airlines’ international expansion strategy, which includes the development of new connections between Venezuela and other Caribbean destinations.
The return of the Maracaibo–Curaçao connection is expected to provide additional travel options for residents, visitors and businesses while supporting closer economic and social relations between both destinations.
