WILLEMSTAD – Aruba’s Minister of Justice, Arthur Dowers, paid a visit to Governor of Curaçao Mauritsz de Kort at Fort Amsterdam during his stay on the island for the Four-Country Judicial Consultation (JVO).
During the meeting, Dowers and De Kort discussed several matters of common interest within the justice system, including issues concerning the legal profession and notarial services.

The visit took place in the context of the JVO, which brings together the justice ministers of Curaçao, Aruba, Sint Maarten and the Netherlands to discuss cooperation and shared priorities within the Kingdom’s justice system.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dowers presented the Governor with a book about Aruba’s monuments as a token of appreciation for the reception.
