WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao-based artist Lara Bonomo has opened her own gallery in Willemstad, offering visitors an immersive experience that blends art, space, and emotion.

The new gallery, located in the Berg Altena area, was officially opened on Sunday and is designed to allow visitors to step directly into Bonomo’s artistic world. The space features a combination of murals and paintings centered on themes of emotion and introspection.

The gallery doubles as both an exhibition space and a working studio, presenting a broad overview of Bonomo’s work, including her well-known murals. The façade itself is painted in such a way that visitors are visually drawn into the space, blurring the line between the artwork and its surroundings.

According to Bonomo, the focus of her work is the inner emotional experience. Her pieces are intended to encourage reflection, inviting visitors to explore their own thoughts and feelings.

The gallery is open to the public from Wednesday through Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with visits by appointment also available.
