THE HAGUE – Students across the Dutch Kingdom will be able to apply again for the Kingdom Scholarship starting April 1, according to the Caribbean Netherlands Office (Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland).
The scholarship is available to students enrolled in secondary vocational education (MBO levels 3 and 4), higher professional education (HBO), and university programs within the Kingdom. It allows participants to temporarily study or complete an internship in another part of the Kingdom.
Eligible exchanges or internships must form part of an accredited program and last a minimum of 21 days and a maximum of six months. Students may undertake their placement at either an educational institution or a company.
Scholarships are awarded through a lottery system. Selected students will receive financial support to help cover the costs associated with their stay and study period.
Applications will remain open until May 14.
The program is designed to strengthen cooperation and promote knowledge exchange between the countries within the Kingdom, while also giving students the opportunity to gain international experience within a familiar educational framework.
