WILLEMSTAD – On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, a delegation from the Anne Frank Youth Network paid a visit to the Governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Mauritsz de Kort.
During the visit, discussions focused on plans to establish a local branch of the network on Curaçao in collaboration with the Jewish Museum Curaçao.

The initiative is aimed at young people between the ages of 16 and 26 and seeks to actively engage them in topics such as human rights, democracy, tolerance, and civic involvement.
The Anne Frank Youth Network is an international initiative that encourages young people to become involved in social justice and active citizenship. Raising awareness about history and promoting dialogue are central to its mission.
Governor De Kort expressed hope that young people on Curaçao will embrace the opportunity to reflect together on the lessons of history and their role in today’s and tomorrow’s society.
