Agri Business Academy Opens Registration for Agricultural Entrepreneurs

WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) and Qredits Curaçao, in collaboration with the Federation of United Production Cooperatives (FKUP – Federashon Kooperativanan Uní di Produkshon), are launching a new edition of the Agri Business Academy for entrepreneurs in Curaçao’s agricultural sector.

The 11-week program will begin on September 22, 2026, with sessions taking place twice a week.

Participants will receive both theoretical and practical training designed to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills. The program will cover areas such as developing a business plan and learning how to effectively present a business concept. FKUP will facilitate the practical component of the academy.

Only a limited number of places are available for this edition. Participation will be fully subsidized by MEO, allowing selected entrepreneurs to complete the program at no cost.

Through the Agri Business Academy, MEO and Qredits aim to provide agricultural entrepreneurs with the knowledge and business skills needed to develop sustainable enterprises.

After successfully completing the program, participants may be eligible to apply for financing of up to XCG 100,000 through Qredits Curaçao to invest in their businesses.
