WILLEMSTAD – A striking concentration appears in Curaçao’s new online gambling licensing system: 163 of the 207 licences currently recorded as “Indefinite” were issued on December 24, 2025.
That date was exactly one year after Curaçao’s new National Ordinance on Games of Chance, the LOK, entered into force on December 24, 2024.
The figures come from an analysis of all 665 entries in the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s Online Gaming License Registry dated September 21, 2026.
Casino Aurum, which converted the regulator’s PDF register into structured data, found that 207 licences have an “Indefinite” status. Of those, 163 show December 24, 2025 as their issue date.
Earlier analysis of the CGA register already showed several prominent operators receiving indefinite licences on that date. Natural Nine B.V., Gareton B.V. and Raw Entertainment B.V., for example, are recorded as having indefinite licences issued on December 24, 2025.
The September dataset also reveals another clear pattern.
Of 408 entries in which both an issue date and an expiry date are printed, 407 have exactly six months between those dates, according to the analysis.
That contrasts with the licences now shown as indefinite and illustrates the different stages visible within the CGA register as Curaçao continues implementing its reformed gambling regime.
The LOK replaced the previous licensing structure and placed responsibility for licensing and supervision of Curaçao’s online gaming industry with the CGA.
The register itself, however, does not explain why such a large group of indefinite licences shares the same December 24, 2025 issue date.
The concentration therefore should not, without further information from the regulator, be interpreted as evidence of improper treatment or automatic approval. It does show that a major part of the transition to indefinite licensing occurred on a single day.
The September register also continues to contain hundreds of licences in another category. Of the 665 entries, 281 are still marked “Assessment in progress,” according to the tabulated CGA data.
