156 People Become New Dutch Citizens After Naturalization Ceremonies

WILLEMSTAD – A total of 156 people obtained Dutch citizenship during three naturalization ceremonies held on July 15 and 16, 2026.

During the ceremonies, the new citizens formally made the Declaration of Solidarity before the Governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Mauritsz de Kort. By completing this step, they officially acquired Dutch nationality.

The Governor congratulated the new citizens and welcomed them as part of the Dutch Kingdom.

The ceremonies took place at the Governor’s Palace, where Governor De Kort met with the newly naturalized citizens and their families.
