WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) sees a tripling of the number of cruise ships to Curaçao. In addition, the number of passengers has doubled.

“In October, ten cruise ships docked in the port of Willemstad,” said CPA spokesman Sau Brigdewater. For the month of November, it is expected that 37 ships will dock and in December this number would remain about the same.

Due to the corona pandemic, 17,000 tourists will come to our island in October. Around 40,000 tourists are expected to arrive in November and December. This is a doubling of the number of passengers.
