WILLEMSTAD - Three cruise ships were docked in the port of Curaçao yesterday. Two were at the mega pier and one in St. Anna Bay.
“The Aida was located at the Matheywerf, because this is the smallest cruise ship of the three,” said Sau Bridgewater of Curacao Ports Authority (CPA). Aidasol was berthed at mega pier Jackie Voges and Norwegian Dawn at mega pier Tula. The ships with 3000 tourists on board have explored Willemstad and the rest of the island.
It has been a long time since Curaçao had several cruise ships with passengers visiting. In 2020, several cruise ships anchored off the island to get through the corona pandemic. There weren’t any passengers on them, however.
