Steven Chin-A-Kwie: 'Airline company Dutch Caribbean Islandhopper focuses on connection'

WILLEMSTAD - A new airline is coming to Curaçao, namely the Dutch Caribbean Islandhopper (DCI).

The airline is awaiting final certification from the Curacao Civil Aviation CCAA. Director Steven Chin-A-Kwie says it is a unique airline that is focused on connecting Caribbean communities.

“Most airlines focus on expanding aircraft. At DCI, the focus will be more on efficiency, comfort, direct connection, flexibility and higher flight frequency," said Chin-A-Kwie.

The airline hopes to be able to fly from the beginning of next year. The flights are scheduled from March 15. The airline will announce the destinations later this month.
