Sarpa starts commercial flights to Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - The airline Sarpa will start commercial flights to Curaçao on December 16. Sarpa initially only operated charter flights and air ambulance services, but will expand its services.

The first passenger flights will depart on December 15. According to Andrés Mesa, CEO of the airline, the commissioning of planned routes will reduce between twenty percent and thirty percent of the current travel costs for these routes. Most connections will depart from El Dorado airport in Bogota Colombia with about fifty passengers.

Mesa says Sarpa wants to address the need for direct connectivity between large and medium-sized cities, which will be reflected in the reduction of costs, both in terms of money and time for travelers.
