WILLEMSTAD - Pietermaai will be hosting the street festival "Heartbeat in the Street" on November 25. The free Heartbeat Music Festival aims not only to provide a joyful evening but also to raise funds for the Curaçao Heart Foundation.
With the support of sponsors, the Pietermaai (Music) Live Foundation and the volunteer group that organized last year's Heart Rock concert have worked together for the event where fun goes hand in hand with supporting a good cause.
On four different stages scattered around Nieuwstraat and its surroundings, various bands will perform live to set the right atmosphere for the audience, while local restaurants and bars will take care of the rest. Performances will include Arp Frique & Family, Arango y La Familia Cubana, Blue Blood, and the band Undercover at MidTown, composed of local musicians.
Representatives from the Curaçao Heart Foundation will be present to provide information and collect donations. Founded in 1988 by Henriette Wallé, the foundation aims to promote life with a healthy heart through informational sessions and courses. The non-profit organization relies on volunteers, professionals, and financial support from donors and sponsors. The organizers and sponsors of this festival aim to contribute to this cause.
The "Heartbeat in the Street" festival promises not only to be a festive evening but also an opportunity to raise awareness for promoting a healthy heart.
