Flights to Curaçao delayed due to severe weather in the Netherlands

SCHIPHOL - Schiphol Airport announces that approximately four hundred flights have been canceled due to the severe weather in the Netherlands. This includes around two hundred departing flights and two hundred arriving flights. Flights to the Dutch Caribbean islands have not been canceled but are experiencing delays. 

 

To provide travelers at the airport with the latest information, office staff is being deployed. According to the spokesperson, this involves dozens of employees. Travelers are also advised to keep track of the current travel information through Schiphol's website and app. 

 

KLM 

 

The KL767 bound for Aruba departed three quarters of an hour later. This flight will now arrive at 5:54 PM. The Airbus A330 will then continue its journey to Bonaire. No delays are expected there, and the aircraft will land at Flamingo Airport in Kralendijk at 7:15 PM, as planned. 

 

The KL735 to Curaçao has not yet departed but is expected to commence its journey on its own schedule at 3:15 PM and arrive at Hato as planned, at 6:55 PM. 

 

The KL787 to Sint Maarten was scheduled to depart at 9:35 AM this morning but ultimately left at 2:02 PM. As a result, the A330 is now expected to arrive at Princess Juliana International Airport at 2:52 PM, one and a half hours later than planned. 

 

TUI 

 

Airline company TUI has one flight to Curaçao today. The OR351 was supposed to depart at 10:05 AM this morning but ended up taking off at 1:04 PM. Consequently, the scheduled arrival time at Hato Airport of 2:40 PM will not be met. The Dreamliner is now expected to arrive at 4:33 PM. 

 

Schiphol Airport anticipates that flight disruptions will persist until 4:00 PM Dutch time, previously expected to end at 3:00 PM.
