First flight to Curaçao from Caracas in May

WILLEMSTAD, CARACAS - The first flight from Caracas to Curaçao will be on May 5. From that date, the Venezuelan airline Laser Airlines will fly twice a week between the two countries, the airline announced in a post on its Facebook page.

Laser Airlines is the first airline to resume flights between Venezuela and Curaçao since the reopening of the borders.

The airline offers direct flights that will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays. The cheapest tickets are available for $260, including checked baggage. The business class flights are almost sold out.

It was previously announced that Chata expects few passengers on commercial flights from Venezuela to the islands for the time being. Due to the high requirements and costs associated with this, it will be difficult for Venezuelan tourists to travel to Curaçao, according to the organization.

Since April 3, charter flights from the South American neighboring country are welcome again. The general flights will start in May.
