Explora 1 visits Curaçao for the first time

WILLEMSTAD - The cruise ship Explora 1, part of the MSC Cruises fleet, visited Curaçao for the first time on December 1. 

As it was the maiden visit of this cruise ship to Curaçao, an inaugural ceremony took place on board. During the ceremony, the ship's captain, CPA, Mr. Ruisandro Cijntje (Minister of Economic Development), and representatives from Maduro Shipping, CTB, and Customs exchanged plaques. 

Explora 1, with a capacity for 1,000 passengers, visited Curaçao with a total of 298 passengers on board. On the same day, the cruise ship Norwegian Joy, accommodating 5,000 passengers with 3,349 passengers on board, also visited Curaçao. 

Explora 1 is a brand-new ship that made its inaugural voyage from Denmark on August 1. This ship falls under the category of luxury vessels.
