WILLEMSTAD - Elements Hotel & Shops (“Elements”) proudly participated in the 2022 Global Tourism Symposium – a tour operator tradeshow organized by CHATA and CTB – and attracted strong interest from hundreds of tour operators, hotel wholesalers, and press members from Europe, North America, South America, and beyond. The event took place on April 25 and 26 and included one-on-one meetings with strategic partners looking to develop their relationships and tourism product portfolio on the island. And it was a great success in developing strong interest in Curacao’s tourism sector.
The highlight of GTS 2022 (apart from the friendly faces, and new partnerships) included an on-site inspection and tour where participants were able to see Elements in its pre-launch state. Upon arrival to the rooftop and the opening of the elevator doors, GTS visitors were greeted with breath-taking views of Punda, Otrobanda, and the South Caribbean Sea.
Paola Padilla, Element’s F&B manager, remarked, “It doesn’t matter if you’ve lived on Curaçao for your entire life, or if you’ve visited a few times – when you reach our rooftop, you’ll experience a brand-new perspective and be treated to an unforgettable merger of history, colors, and culture.” With a rooftop infinity edge plunge pool, Elements’ rooftop features a full bar and kitchen under the name Cascada and will serve delicious tapas and cocktails when it opens to the public.
“The timing for GTS 2022 was simply perfect,” remarked Sales & Marketing Director Kunal Mirchandani. He continued, “We’re not only launching Curacao’s newest boutique hotel project – but also a new hotel brand concept - and GTS 2022 gave us a great way to introduce ourselves to the industry.” At the event, Elements met with a range of partners of the industry (including TUI, JetBlue, and Expedia) and showcased a virtual tour of the project using 3D AI-Rendered models. And while the two-day Global Tourism Symposium went by very quickly, a lot was accomplished. Already, the Elements team is discussing the possibilities of special events (including a wedding reception) to be held on the rooftop. Elements Curacao looks forward to reenergizing Punda – with new restaurants, bars, and places where guests and locals can meet and mingle. The new city boutique hotel is on schedule to celebrate a soft launch on July 30, 2022, and will feature all the refined amenities of that the modern-day traveler wants.
