D66 MPs: Where is the next step to make flying in the Caribbean affordable?

THE HAGUE - Dutch Members of Parliament Jorien Wuite and Raoul Boucke (both D66 party) want to know when the Dutch government will take the next step to make flight connections in the Caribbean Netherlands more affordable. The reason for the written questions they put to Minister Harbers (Infrastructure and Water Management) and State Secretary Van Huffelen (Kingdom Relations) is the news that Bonaire is getting a flying academy for electric flying.

Two years ago, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management announced an electric flying master plan for the Caribbean. A challenge was held for student teams, but after that it became quiet. The E-Flight Academy is a private initiative.
