WILLEMSTAD - In the coming months, one of the largest cruise ships in the world will dock more often at the Megapier in Otrabanda, Willemstad. Until July, the Allure of The Seas will visit Curaçao six more times.

Yesterday the cruise ship docked in Curaçao for the first time. There were about four and a half thousand passengers on board. Minister of Economic Development, Ruisandro Cijntje, and Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas were given a tour yesterday by the captain of the megaship of shipping company Royal Caribbean Cruise. Cijntje is very happy with the arrival of the ship and sees this as the result of the close ties that the island has with the shipping company.
