WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao gets a TUI Blue Hotel. The travel organization announced this on Monday.  

That was high on the wish list of the largest travel company on the island for years. And that wish now becomes reality. Yesterday the contract was signed for the construction of the TUI Blue Curaçao in Santa Martha in Bandabao. The hotel gets 300 rooms with the possibility to expand it to 400.  

According to TUI, Santa Martha is the perfect location for this, with its authentic surroundings and located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.  

The development of the hotel is in the hands of the Vogels and Alstede families. The Van Alstede family who recently developed the new office building of TUI in Willemstad is mainly concerned with the architectural side of the project.  

The Hotelier family Vogels from Avila Beach Hotel and Lionsdive Beach Resort, among others, is responsible for management. The construction process is expected to start in August next year. And if everything goes according to plan, TUI Blue Curaçao will open its doors at the end of 2025.
