Curaçao displayed to 100 million viewers at the Super Bowl

KANSAS CITY - Sandals Resorts International showed its latest project in Curaçao last Sunday during the Super Bowl on Fox Television. The 15 second spot focused on Sandals and Beaches 'Winter Blues' sales.

That's a promotion that encourages future guests to get away from the cold in the United States and head to the Caribbean islands, where the climate is warm.

Showcasing the Caribbean during one of the most watched events in the world is extremely important, according to the group. “Not only for our achievements over the past 40 years, but it also gives direction to the vision we continue to pursue,” said Gebhard Rainer, CEO of Sandals Resorts.

The Super Bowl LVII game was between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chiefs won the game and the trophy for the second time in the last three years. It is estimated that more than 100 million people watched it

“We chose Sandals Royal Curacao not only because it is the newest resort, but also because it represents the best Sandals Resorts has to offer in the entire chain,” said Rainer.

All-inclusive

Sandals Royal Curaçao is located on the private property of Santa Barbara and has 351 rooms all-inclusive.

The resort opened last June and represents Jamaica's super brand, becoming the first resort on an island in the Caribbean that does not speak English.

Sandals plans to continue its expansion and improvement in the coming months at Sandals Dunn's River in May and renovations at Beaches Negril and Sandals Halcyon, scheduled for year-end.
