WILLEMSTAD - Corendon will once again operate cruises in the Caribbean during the 2026/2027 winter season with the cruise ship Renaissance. The port of Curaçao will once again serve as both embarkation and disembarkation port, just as it did during the previous winter season.
The past season was a success. Marc van den Berg, Manager of Corendon/STIP Reizen, said: “We saw strong demand for cruises departing from Curaçao. Travelers appreciate being able to combine multiple Caribbean destinations from the island without constantly packing and unpacking. The comfort of a mid-sized ship, the personal atmosphere on board, and the carefully selected itineraries truly make this a different kind of journey.”
From November 2026 through February 2027, Renaissance is scheduled to operate 8-, 11-, and 15-day cruises in the Caribbean. With Curaçao as its fixed departure and arrival port, travelers benefit from additional comfort and flexibility. By combining an intimate ship with carefully curated routes, Corendon/STIP Reizen offer an attractive winter product for both experienced cruise travelers and vacationers embarking on their first cruise.
“With the new program, we build on the success of last season and once again give travelers the opportunity to experience the Caribbean in a relaxed and complete way,” Van den Berg added.
Depending on the selected itinerary, the ship will call at destinations including Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Roseau (Dominica), Kingstown (St. Vincent & the Grenadines), Fort-de-France (Martinique), Oranjestad (Aruba), Castries (Saint Lucia), Bridgetown (Barbados), Road Town (British Virgin Islands), Philipsburg (Sint Maarten), St. John’s (Antigua & Barbuda), and Kralendijk (Bonaire).
Renaissance accommodates approximately 1,200 guests. The ship was built in 1993 as Maasdam for Holland America Line and underwent a major renovation in 2023. It now sails under the flag of the Ambassador Group, which includes Ambassador Cruise Line and Compagnie Française de Croisières.
