WILLEMSTAD - The artists for the sixth edition of the Curaçao International BlueSeas Festival have been unveiled. The district of Pietermaai will once again come alive with the sounds of blues music and enthusiasts at the end of March.
The street festival, free for both local residents and tourists, kicks off on the evening of Thursday, March 28, at Kura Hulanda Village in Otrobanda with a performance by Jo Harman.
The festival's lineup includes performances by various artists, including Candace Ivory, D.K. Harrell, Tommy Castro and The Painkillers, and the Chris Cain Band on Friday, March 29, in Pietermaai. Saturday, March 30, will also feature performances in Pietermaai, with acts such as Damon Fowler, Kat Riggins & Her Blues Revival, Danielle Nicole, and Kai Strauss & The Electric Blues Allstars.
Established in 1990 by Gregory Elias, Fundashon Bon Intenshon organizes the BlueSeas Festival with the aim of promoting Curaçao in a unique way, focusing on social engagement.
