Former Prime Minister of Curaçao, Gilmar Pisas, praised GOMG as a leading player in the niche market of Asphalt production and exportation. The agreement marks a significant milestone as GOMG gears up for the necessary operational preparations.

Pisas clarified that this partnership does not impede the ongoing efforts to find an operator for the Refinery. He expressed, "This agreement holds immense importance for our community, particularly our country's economy.

Furthermore, it will enhance Curaçao's standing in the industrial and petroleum sectors." Pisas also highlighted that over 300 technical jobs will be created this year alone, focusing on maintenance and operations.

Global Oil Management Group is making substantial investments to utilize the Refinery's units and facilities. They will collaborate with local contractors to execute the initial phase of operations, followed by subsequent phases for the production and exportation of various products.

Pisas further emphasized the wide-ranging benefits of this collaboration, including job creation and revenue generation through services at the Refinery, port services, and other areas supporting global operations. Global Oil Management Group's international renown, extensive connections in the United States and South America, and worldwide client base were lauded by the former Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister underlined the trust and confidence demonstrated by Global Oil Management Group's decision to enter into a multimillion-dollar investment and operational agreement, showcasing their appreciation for the fruitful relationship established with Curaçao over the years. This agreement opens doors to numerous international opportunities that will positively impact the local community.

The achievement was celebrated as a significant milestone for Curaçao, aligning with the country's goals for the Refinery, including its full reopening. The Government of Curaçao pledged continued support for the steps taken by the Curaçao Refinery, as they spearhead innovative projects in the realm of Curaçao's energy transition.
