THE HAGUE - The Dutch Gambling Authority (KSA) has called upon the Curaçao Gaming Control Board (CGCB) to take action against online gambling companies operating illegally from Willemstad and targeting gamblers in the Netherlands.
In a letter to the acting head of the CGCB, Eduardo Vlieg, the KSA names the online casinos specifically. The letter also provides a list of Curaçao-based operators who refuse to pay fines imposed by the KSA. Vlieg is asked to assist in collecting these fines, which range from 100,000 to 900,000 euros.
Notably, the KSA does not mention the local businesses that facilitate the operators in violation, such as the so-called master license holders and trust companies.
