WILLEMSTAD - The political party MAN-PIN has firmly denied rumors of a potential coalition with the Movement for the Future of Curaçao (MFK) or the Partido Nashonal di Pueblo (PNP) to form a new government. In a recent press release, the party emphasized that it has no involvement in efforts to support a majority in the current Pisas-II cabinet.
The rumors suggested that MAN-PIN was in discussions with either MFK or PNP regarding a possible alliance. However, the party was clear in its statement: "The MAN and PIN parties will run together on one list in the March 2025 elections and are focusing on concrete plans for the development and progress of the citizens."
Further distancing itself from the ruling parties, MAN-PIN clarified that it is not in talks with MFK, PNP, or any other parties about government support. The party expressed its belief that the current MFK-PNP government should complete its remaining term without external assistance.
In its statement, MAN-PIN went on to criticize the government for its handling of key issues. “They must be held accountable for the problems surrounding the refinery, the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC), and the 3 billion guilder debt,” the party stated.
With elections set for March 2025, MAN-PIN made it clear that its focus remains on preparing for the future, presenting solutions that prioritize the development of the island and its citizens, rather than engaging in political maneuvering.
