WILLEMSTAD - The deadline set by the Health Inspection for the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) is set to expire today. The Inspection has called for improvements to the hospital's appointment system.
In response, the CMC has expressed confidence in the functionality of its appointment system, asserting that appointments can be scheduled well into 2024.
While the CMC has acknowledged longer waiting times in certain specialties, it has contested the Inspection's assertion that actual waiting lists surpass reported figures.
The hospital is urging the Inspection to prioritize addressing healthcare challenges across the board.
