The Council of Ministers has determined that the development of an Energy Map will be an essential part of our broader efforts to achieve 100% sustainable energy by 2045. Considering this ambition announces that Blue Planet Alliance, during COP28 in Dubai, has offered assistance to help the government achieve this goal.
The Blue Planet Climate Agreement, signed during COP28 in Dubai, declares Blue Planet Alliance's intention to end the use of fossil fuel-based combustion by 2045. The alliance is ready to assist any island or country dedicated to meeting this goal. “In view of our own commitment to achieving 100% renewable energy by 2045, we intend to officially join,” said the government in a press release.
