WILLEMSTAD - The final tests are being conducted on the E-gates at Curaçao International Airport. This was announced by the Ministry of Justice.
The ministry states that all E-gates will soon function optimally. The airport is making improvements to the E-gates, aiming to make self-service faster and passenger flow smoother.
Curaçao Airport Partners announced in mid-February that the upgrading of the E-gates would last until the end of March. After that, passengers should be able to make optimal use of the E-gate service again, with shorter waiting times. It appears that the work is progressing reasonably according to schedule.
The exact date of when the new E-gates will be put into use is not disclosed.
