WILLEMSTAD – As the Curaçao community may have noticed, in recent weeks, the Economic Inspection Department of the Ministry of Economic Development has been conducting multidisciplinary checks, along with colleagues from Customs, GMN, BAB, Police, Fire Department, SVB, SOAW, and Aqualectra, at various Horeca establishments. During these inspections, the Economic Inspection Department has identified various irregularities concerning compliance with the conditions specified in the Horeca permit, such as evening opening hours, product price indications, and sanitary and public order conditions.
The Economic Inspection Department urges all Horeca establishment owners who are not complying with their permit conditions to take the necessary steps immediately to rectify the situation before a check is conducted at your establishment.
The Economic Inspection Department also calls on the entire Curaçao community to make conscious purchases and promptly report any irregularities to the relevant authorities when noticed.
