WILLEMSTAD – The government of Curaçao will be well represented at the 48th Regular Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government, which will take place from February 19 to 21, 2025, in Barbados.
The team representing Curaçao on behalf of Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas consists of:
Mr. Djurick Comenentia – Head of Delegation
Ms. Roxienne Albertina – Spokesperson for the Prime Minister of Curaçao
Mr. Caryl Monte – Strategic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Curaçao
Ms. Nzinga Waandels – Policy Advisor at the Directorate of Foreign Relations
This year’s conference theme is “Strength in Unity: Forging Caribbean Resilience, Inclusive Growth, and Sustainable Development.” Key topics to be discussed during the event include food security, climate change, regional security, digital resilience, external relations, economic integration, and maritime/air transport.
The opening ceremony will take place on Monday, February 19, in Barbados, where the CARICOM Chairman and Secretary-General, along with international dignitaries, will deliver speeches.
