WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao International Airport has issued a warning to travelers about expected congestion during the current high season, which coincides with the Carnival period. With a significant increase in passenger volume, long lines are anticipated, particularly during peak hours from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The busiest days are forecasted to be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with multiple flights scheduled from airlines such as TUI, KLM, American Airlines, and JetBlue.
Travelers are advised to check the check-in counter opening times with their airlines and ensure they arrive at the airport well in advance.
The airport management stated that efforts are underway to improve operations to meet the growing demand. Passengers are encouraged to remain patient and understanding during this busy period.
