WILLEMSTAD - On November 3, the Secretary of the Court of Appeals, Geraldine Huisman Rozendal, communicated a significant development to the legal representatives involved in the ongoing Ennia case.
In her letter, Secretary Huisman Rozendal conveyed that the Court of Appeals, consisting of three judges, had declined Ennia's petition to expedite the case for immediate review by the Supreme Court.
The presiding Judge, Mr. Geloven, has expressed the court's stance that the intermediate decision rendered on September 12th will remain in full effect. Consequently, the scheduled hearing will be postponed, now rescheduled for November 12.
This latest ruling represents the second setback for Ennia within a mere two-month period. The significance of the court's decision is underscored by the forthcoming Mullet Bay ballot, which now holds the key to determining the ultimate outcome of this complex legal matter.
