MIAMI - The likelihood that the tropical wave developing over the Atlantic Ocean will grow into a hurricane has increased. According to the latest forecasts from the National Hurricane Center, the disturbance now has a 40 percent chance of becoming a hurricane.
The National Hurricane Center states that the weather conditions are currently less favorable for hurricane development compared to earlier, resulting in a slower development process. In the coming days, conditions are expected to become more conducive, increasing the chances of the wave developing into a hurricane.
The course of the tropical wave remains unchanged. As it stands, the tropical wave is expected to move westward. Consequently, there is a high probability that the Caribbean region will experience the effects of the disturbance.
