THE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD - The Kingdom Council of Ministers, on the proposal of Minister Raymond Knops of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, approved the reappointment of Mrs. L. A. (Lucille) George-Wout as Governor of Curaçao.

She will be reappointed by the King for a period of six years from 4 November 2019.

The reappointment of Mrs. George-Wout (1950) ensures continuity in the national government. Moreover, Mrs. George-Wout has experience with cabinets of different political composition.
