Update COVID-19: 145 tested; confirmed cases remain at 11, 3 are now safe

WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao's epidemiologist Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth just confirmed that a third COVID-19 patient is now safe. The total confirmed cases remain at 11 with 145 people tested. One has died, two are in the hospital and the rest are being monitored.

Since the measures to fight this deadly virus were announced, 1588 people have entered the island. The people who have entered the country are under mandatory quarantine. "All movements outside your home must be absolutely limited. This is important, however it is not being complied with accordingly. The government is taking tough measures. If this is not properly adhered to, this has consequences, it will greatly exceed our care capacity. So, stay at home! Says Dr. Gerstenbluth this morning during the daily briefing of the government.
