WILLEMSTAD – The political party Movemiento Futuro Kòrsou (MFK) has secured a decisive majority in the Parliament of Curaçao, winning 41,654 votes in the March 21 elections. The official results were confirmed by the Electoral Council during a public session on Tuesday, March 26.

According to the final count, MFK will hold 13 seats in parliament—11 won outright and two additional seats allocated through the remainder system. The Partido Nashonal di Pueblo (PNP) follows with four seats (3+1), receiving 12,228 votes. Partido Alternativa Real (PAR) secured two seats with 7,600 votes, while the coalition party MAN-PIN also won two seats (1+1) with a total of 6,393 votes.
The Electoral Council also announced the names of the candidates elected to Parliament. In alphabetical order, they are:

PNP: Ruisandro Cijntje, Ruthmilda Larmonie-Cecilia, Ornelio Martina, Sheldry Osepa
PAR: Shaheen Elhage, Quincy Girigorie
MAN-PIN: Suzy Camelia-Römer, Giselle Thijssen-McWilliam
With its majority, MFK is now in a strong position to form the next government of Curaçao.
