WILLEMSTAD - The students of the VSBO school Juan Pablo Duarte high school get to go back to their own school building after the Christmas holidays. In the last samples that were sent to the Netherlands for research, no asbestos fibers were found.
This is what the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport (OWCS) informs in a press release. Right before the Christmas vacation, the school has been released by the Health and Safety Service and from January 7 the VSBO students are back in their own familiar benches.
The vsbo temporarily moved to another school when asbestos was found in the building during a renovation and the placement of solar panels.
