WILLEMSTAD – On June 9, 2025, the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout, officially swore in the ministers of the new Pisas III Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas. All ministers belong to the Movementu Futuro Kòrsou (MFK) party, which secured an absolute majority in the recent parliamentary elections.
The new cabinet marks the start of a fresh four-year governing period and includes the following ministers:
Gilmar Pisas – Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs, Environment, and Nature
Javier Silvani – Minister of Finance and Public Health
Shalten Hato – Minister of Justice
Charetti America-Francisca – Minister of Social Development, Labor, and Welfare
Kimberly Lew-Yen-Tai – Minister of Governance, Planning, and Public Services
Charles Cooper – Minister of Traffic, Transportation, and Urban Planning
Roderick Middelhoven – Minister of Economic Development
Sithree van Heydoorn – Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports
Carlson Manuel – Minister Plenipotentiary in The Hague
With the full cabinet now sworn in, the government is set to begin implementing its new governing program, “Rumbo pa 2030!” (On the Road to 2030), which focuses on economic diversification, sustainable development, and strengthening Curaçao’s financial resilience.
