Zero tolerance for new closing times

WILLEMSTAD - Head of the inspection team of the Ministry of Economic Affairs Ronny Cornelis has said that there will be strict controls in Curacao on the new closing times of shops and the way in which the restaurant and truk'i pan (BBQ trucks) serve food in the evening.

According to Cornelis, there is a zero-tolerance policy.

All businesses that do not follow the rules remain closed for a few days.
