WILLEMSTAD - A young man was hit on the Ronde Klip racing track towards the end of the afternoon yesterday. He was hit by one of the racing cars on the track. That happened during a race event. The man was transported to the CMC hospital in a serious condition and succumbed to his injuries around eight o'clock.
The Traffic Department and the Forensic Service of the Curaçao police continue to investigate this case. According to the police, this accident is not considered a traffic accident because it did not take place on a public road.
