WILLEMSTAD - The roundabout on Helmin Wiels Boulevard at Parasassa is partially closed for maintenance work. This is reported by Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning Charles Cooper. Work started on Tuesday.
Due to the poor condition of the road, Public Works (OW) will work on the roundabout's restoration in the coming month. The left lane will be closed between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Traffic will be diverted via the Uralweg. The diversion is indicated by orange signs.
In about two weeks the right lane will be closed and the left lane will be reopened. OW asks drivers to drive carefully and be mindful of the workers.
