WILLEMSTAD - Yesterday, a woman was found dead in a house in the Jongbloed neighborhood. She was lying at the bottom of a staircase and showed no signs of life.
Officers at the scene assessed the situation and immediately called in the forensic service and a police doctor. Investigation revealed that she had fallen from the stairs and broken her neck.
The police doctor confirmed the woman's death. Forensic investigators found no signs of violence, leading to the conclusion that there was no foul play involved. The body has been handed over to the family.
