WILLEMSTAD - Jesmelys Zink Angelista has claimed the title of Reina di Karnaval 2024. The young woman was crowned with this title on Saturday. The Prince and Pancho Carnival of this year were also announced, with the honors going to Irvanrig Leito and Dievenier Hame, respectively.

The candidates, representatives from schools or carnival groups, must go through different rounds and give a presentation. For Reina di Karnaval, it is not only about the presentation but also about the appearance in an evening gown.
This year, Jesmelys made history: she had previously been crowned Reina di Karnaval. It is the second time in history that the title has been won twice by the same person.
