WILLEMSTAD - Wind Creek Curaçao has raised $50,000 for local charities through the second edition of Long Table Curaçao, a culinary charity event that brought together more than 600 guests for a sold-out dinner under the stars. The boulevard in front of the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort was transformed for one evening into a beautifully decorated open-air restaurant.
The total proceeds—$36,000 from ticket sales supplemented by an additional $14,000 donation from Wind Creek Hospitality—were distributed among eight Curaçaoan nonprofit organizations.
Local Organizations Benefit
The Alzheimer Foundation Curaçao received the top donation of $20,000, followed by Stichting Hamiëd, which was awarded $10,000. Both Hospice Arco Cavent and Stichting Uniek Curaçao each received $5,000, while four other foundations were granted $2,500 apiece.
“Connecting and Giving Back to the Community”
According to Averilette Francis, General Manager of Wind Creek Curaçao, the event embodies the company’s mission to strengthen community ties and support the island.
“Long Table Curaçao is a beautiful reflection of our mission to come together as a community and make a difference,” Francis said.
With the success of this second edition, Wind Creek Curaçao says Long Table Curaçao has firmly established itself as an annual highlight, uniquely combining fine dining and community spirit in one memorable evening.
