Wind Creek Curaçao hosts Inaugural Long Table Curaçao, awarding $50,000 to local charities

WILLEMSTAD - Long Table Curaçao, a one-night-only culinary charity event hosted by Wind Creek Curaçao, concluded its inaugural celebration on Sunday, October 20. Billed as “the only meal worth $50,000 for Curaçao,” Long Table Curacao featured a white-hot dinner for guests and announced five contest winners, each receiving a $10,000 community impact donation.

Following the 6-year success of Long Table Aruba, this event expands the brand's commitment to community impact and corporate responsibility across its locations. Located outside the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort, Long Table Curaçao featured a magnificent table set for 400 guests, creating an unforgettable dining experience under the stars.

In its support of the local community, Wind Creek Curaçao held a video contest in which all local charitable organizations were invited to present compelling cases for financial support. The public then voted for their favorite charity between September 20 and October 10, guaranteeing that the community helped determine where the funds are most impactful.

Given the overwhelming interest shown throughout the voting process, Wind Creek Curaçao was able to award five non-profit organizations $10,000 each, including:

Fundashon Alton Paas
Hospice Arco Cavent
Pippi’s Opvang
Reef Renewal Foundation Curacao
Rescue Paws Curaçao

“At Wind Creek, it is our mission to weave ourselves into the fabric of communities that we live and operate in,” said Maylin Trenidad-Rosheuvel, Managing Director of Wind Creek Curaçao. “And with this inaugural event in Curaçao, we were able to fully celebrate that principle. Our community really came together to support these local organizations. The night truly exceeded all expectations, and I can’t wait for an even bigger event next year.” Trenidad-Rosheuvel added, “Not only have we been able to support our local Curaçao community with this Long Table event, but we’ve been so fortunate to see the positive impact that it has had on everyone involved - from team members to guests to charitable recipients. We look forward to continued success in the years to come.”
