Winair Expands Caribbean Route Network to Boost Regional Connectivity

WILLEMSTAD – Winair has strategically expanded its Caribbean route network, enhancing regional connectivity and providing more travel options for residents and tourists alike. The key highlight of the expansion is the launch of a new weekly nonstop flight from Bonaire to St. Maarten, along with improved services connecting Curacao, Bonaire, and St. Maarten. 

New Nonstop Flight from Bonaire to St. Maarten 

Starting December 11, 2024, Winair introduced a nonstop flight from Bonaire to St. Maarten, operating every Thursday. The new service, flight WM811, uses an ATR42 aircraft, known for its efficiency on regional routes. 

Flight Route: 

Departure from St. Maarten (SXM): 3:00 PM 

Arrival at Curacao (CUR): 5:15 PM 

Departure from Curacao (CUR): 5:45 PM 

Arrival at Bonaire (BON): 6:20 PM 

Return to St. Maarten (SXM): 9:15 PM 

This new flight is expected to greatly improve accessibility between Bonaire and St. Maarten, reducing travel time and providing more convenient options for travelers. 

Enhanced Services Between St. Maarten, Curacao, and Bonaire 

In addition to the new nonstop route, Winair has optimized its existing flights across several key Caribbean destinations: 

St. Maarten – Curacao: Twice weekly 

St. Maarten – Curacao – Aruba: Daily 

St. Maarten – Curacao – Bonaire: Twice weekly
