THE HAGUE - Curaçao’s capital Willemstad, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, features prominently in the 2022 report of the Dutch World Heritage Foundation (Stichting Werelderfgoed Nederland).
On page 27 of this report, you can see the moment when Minister Charles Cooper received the book titled 'Willemstad Werelderfgoed: Kleurrijke stad aan een natuurlijke haven' (Willemstad World Heritage: Colorful City by a Natural Harbor).
On page 29, you can also take note of the visit Minister Cooper made to Secretary of State Mrs. Gunay Uslu, where they discussed world heritage.
In 2022, as a country, we celebrated several significant and historical milestones, including Willemstad's 25 years on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We can be proud of our beautiful country and its internationally recognized heritage.
